Pietro Zardini Amarone della Valpolicella
An impressive and rich Amarone with great depth and elegance. Made from carefully selected grapes from high-altitude vineyards and traditionally dried for added concentration. The aroma offers warm notes of vanilla, cocoa, coffee, and spices. The palate is full and powerful, with ripe dark fruit, chocolate, and a long, enveloping finish. A classic Amarone for special occasions, perfect with red meat, game, and aged cheeses, or enjoyed neat.

Amarone della Valpolicella

Production area: Valpolicella
Soil: Predominantly red and brown soils on rubble, marl and basalt

Harvest: Carefully selected grapes from high-altitude hillside vineyards, harvested by hand in small boxes

Vinification: The grapes are dried for 3–4 months, followed by traditional fermentation on the skins with a maceration of 4–5 weeks.

Maturation: 3 years maturation in oak barrels and barriques, followed by further maturation in stainless steel and bottle before release

Alcohol percentage: 15% vol.

Colour: Intense ruby red with garnet nuances

Aroma: Enveloping and full, with notes of vanilla, complemented by hints of coffee, cocoa and spices

Taste: Full and powerful, with warm alcoholic impressions, ripe fruit and chocolate

Drinking window: Within 10–12 years, serve at 18–20 °C

Food pairings: Red meat, Fiorentina steak, venison, wild boar and mature cheeses; a true meditation wine, perfect for sharing around the fire

70% Corvina – 20% Rondinella – 10% Molinara
This classic Amarone blend features Corvina for structure, cherry fruit, and elegance, Rondinella for color, spice, and balance, and Molinara for freshness and vibrant acidity. Together, they create a powerful, complex wine with depth and finesse.
