Vinification
Manual selection of the grapes on a vibrating table, followed by a second selection to remove impurities. Gentle pressing, followed by spontaneous alcoholic fermentation in contact with the skins in conical wooden vats for approximately 40 days, with the cap submerged.
After fermentation, the wine is transferred to Austrian oak barrels, where it matures for 30 months; malolactic fermentation also takes place in the barrel. Bottling takes place in January of the third year after the harvest, followed by a further 24 months of bottle aging.

Tasting notes
This is the ultimate expression of Nebbiolo's power. Rich, compelling, and structured, yet simultaneously harmonious. The wine opens with aromas of ripe red fruit, followed by balsamic notes that develop into hints of tobacco and mint.

 Powerful and taut on the palate, as only a Barolo from Serralunga d'Alba can be, with a deep and pronounced but perfectly balanced tannin structure.

Technical notes
This wine comes from two of our most prestigious vineyards. In years when Lazzarito isn't released as a Riserva, this vineyard is combined with Cerretta, creating a unique wine.

Nebbiolo is Piedmont's finest grape, known for its powerful tannins, complex aromas, and exceptional aging potential. The Lampia clone produces wines with extra finesse, depth, and balance.
