This cool vineyard, ideal for white wines, was planted in 2004 by Alessia's father. The unique feature of this vineyard, located in the municipality of Diano d'Alba, is the presence of fossilized (cemented) sand layers in the soil.
Vinification involves cryomaceration in the press, where some of the grape bunches remain whole, for five hours. This is followed by a soft pressing and fermentation in stainless steel for approximately 20 days, followed by aging in stainless steel vats for six months .
Grape variety
Arneis
This Arneis is an indigenous white grape variety from Piedmont, best known from the Roero and Langhe regions. It produces elegant, fresh wines with aromas of pear, peach, and white flowers, and a light mineral note. Arneis is known for its supple structure, mild acidity, and subtle almondy finish. Its refined balance of freshness and roundness makes it a perfect accompaniment to light dishes, fish, and salads.
