About the wine
Dark in color, like a mulberry. The tannins are soft, like the threads a silkworm spins while eating mulberry leaves. The story goes back a long way: before modern plantings, vines were trained and grown alongside various tree species—including the mulberry ( gelso ).
Color, smell, taste
Intense ruby red color. The nose offers aromas of berries and spicy notes. The palate boasts well-defined tannins, beautifully balanced with acidity. A supple yet structured wine, ideal with rich, full-bodied dishes.

Yield: 90 quintals per hectare
Vinification: Red vinification with fermentation at controlled temperatures in stainless steel tanks. Skin maceration for 10–12 days with immersion (pigeage) and pumping over (remontage). Maturation: 8 months in barriques for half the volume, the remainder in stainless steel, followed by 4 months of bottle aging.
