Vineyards
The vineyards are located in the northeastern part of the municipality of Verona, in a hilly area 300–500 meters above sea level. The soil consists of clay-limestone with a significant presence of rock.
Harvest
The grapes are harvested from the last ten days of September until the end of October. The best bunches are selected and picked by hand, placed in small 5 kg crates, and then dried for about three months.
Vinification and Maturation
At the end of the drying period, the grapes have lost more than 50% of their original weight. This dehydration is intended not only to increase sugar concentration but also to develop the aromatic and polyphenolic potential. After drying, the grapes are pressed, and fermentation takes place for two to three weeks in temperature-controlled steel vats. The wine then matures for 18 months in oak barrels before bottling.
Grape variety
70% Corvina, 20% Corvinone, 10% Rondinella
This classic Valpolicella blend combines Corvina for elegant fruit and freshness, Corvinone for depth and powerful structure, and Rondinella for softness and harmonious aromas. Together they create a balanced, characterful wine with a typical Veronese profile.
