Label
To choose a name for this new wine, our company held a contest among customers and friends. Many responded, and about a hundred suggestions were randomly placed on the label, creating a kind of word cloud that evokes the wine's various qualities—with metaphors and dialect, simple phrases, playful linguistic discoveries, and refined old expressions. At the center of this evocative cloud, the name A TAJ appears naturally.

Name
In Piedmontese, A Taj means “useful, pleasant, just right”; a name that perfectly suits a young, approachable wine, intended as an accompaniment for lovers of good food.

Harvest
Harvesting takes place by hand during the first ten days of September, when the grapes have reached their peak ripeness. The bunches are carefully selected—unripe or damaged grapes are removed—then placed in baskets and taken to the cellar for vinification as quickly as possible.

Vinification
The juice obtained by soft pressing is cooled and clarified statically. Alcoholic fermentation, using selected yeasts, takes place at an average temperature of 18°C. The wine then remains on its fine lees in stainless steel tanks until bottling.

Maturation and storage
Because of its characteristic freshness, the wine is released shortly after bottling. Although it can age for several years, given the grape's noble origins, we recommend drinking it young to fully appreciate its fresh aroma and vibrancy.

Characteristics of the wine
Beautiful straw yellow colour with light greenish hues.
A broad, intense and fruity-floral bouquet that is pleasant and long lasting.

The taste is dry, well-structured and pleasantly tart; delicate and elegant, with a long aromatic finish.

13% vol.

Serving suggestions and combinations
Excellent as an aperitif, ideal with starters and very good with light pasta dishes or main courses with fish and shellfish.
Best served at 10–12°C in a tall-stemmed glass with a tulip-shaped, slightly flared bowl.
