A powerful and modern expression of Aglianico del Vulture, sourced from high-altitude vineyards on the volcanic slopes around Venosa. The wine displays a deep ruby-red color and a refined aroma with vinosity and subtle spicy notes. On the palate, it is dry, full-bodied, and harmonious, with a beautiful structure and a long, lingering finish. A characterful red wine that pairs perfectly with roasted meats, Mediterranean dishes, game, and aged cheeses.

Production area:
The northeastern part of the province of Potenza, the recognized production area of Aglianico del Vulture DOC, which includes the territory of 15 municipalities, in particular Venosa, the birthplace of Horace.
Harvest method:
Careful selection of the grapes, harvested in the early morning hours and transported directly to the winery.
Vinification:
Vinification takes place in small fermentation tanks with skin maceration at controlled temperatures of 23–26°C. Both alcoholic and malolactic fermentation take place in stainless steel tanks.
Maturation:
Maturation in oak barrels for approximately 12 months.
Organoleptic characteristics and technical notes:
A well-structured, modern wine with:
- Colour: intense ruby red with bright red reflections
- Aroma: Vinoso, with a delicate, fresh note and light spiciness
- Taste: dry, savoury and persistent, very pleasant because of its harmony
Food combinations and serving temperature:
A classic wine with roast dishes, typical Mediterranean starters, game and mature cheeses.
