Poderi Garona Boca DOC

A refined and characterful red wine from Alto Piemonte, made from Nebbiolo, Vespolina, and Uva Rara. Garnet red with delicate orange hues, a complex bouquet of flowers, herbs, and ripe red fruit. Warm, elegant, and perfectly balanced on the palate, with firm yet refined tannins. A wine with depth and a long finish, ideal with stews, game, and aged cheeses.

Taste: warm, with a nice balance between freshness and softness; firm in tannins and long lasting in the aftertaste

Production area: Alto Piemonte, in the municipality of Boca, subzone Garona, province of Novara, Italy.

Harvest: Early to mid-October, when the grapes are fully ripe; the bunches are hand-selected and collected in crates of approximately 20 kg.

Vinification: Careful pressing with destemming at low speed, followed by fermentation at controlled temperatures to preserve the typical aromatic qualities of the grapes.

Maturation: Boca DOC – the wine is aged in Slavonian oak barrels for at least 18 months (24 months for the Riserva), followed by a further 12 months of bottle ageing.

Gastronomic pairings: excellent with local cured meats, stuffed pasta, stewed meats, game, grilled dishes and mature cheeses.

Serving temperature: 16–18°C
