Pinot Grigio PIETRAMONTIS, The Classics
Name: Dolomiti IGT
Area: Mountain vineyards in Trentino, Piana Rotaliana
Soil: Alluvial, with high fertility at the surface and excellent drainage in the subsoil
Serving temperature: 10–12 °C
Vinification: The grapes are harvested manually and selectively. Fermentation at controlled temperatures and aging for several months take place in stainless steel tanks, with a small portion in barriques.
Visual examination: Straw yellow colour.
Nose analysis: Fruity nose with mineral notes, delicate and intense.
Palate: Very balanced. Dry and smooth on the palate, rich in fruity and lingering aromas.
Pairings: Excellent as an aperitif. Pairs well with gratinated oven dishes, tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, and main courses with white meat or fish. Also very good with seafood and vegetarian dishes.
