A refined, terroir-driven Verdicchio with a bright straw-yellow color and a distinctly fresh character. The nose offers notes of citrus, pineapple, and grapefruit, refined by a subtle minerality. The palate is full-bodied and harmonious, with a beautiful balance between freshness and softness. A light honey note gives way to a dry, clean finish with fruity nuances. An elegant white wine with character, ideal with fish dishes, shellfish, and light Mediterranean dishes.

Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi DOC Classico
The name Nativo refers to the historical presence of Verdicchio grapes in the Marche region and their cultivation on the rolling hills surrounding the Esino Valley. Nativo harks back to the traditional winemaking practice of spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts. Combined with modern vinification techniques, this results in a wine deeply connected to the terroir and offering an elegant drinking experience.
Vineyard
The Colle del Sole vineyard, located in the municipality of Maiolati Spontini, is characterized by soils rich in clay and silt. Verdicchio grapes are grown on the eastern side of the hill, spread over 4 hectares of gently rolling terrain. The average altitude is 120 meters above sea level.
Harvest
The grapes for Nativo are harvested in the first half of September. The yield is approximately 8.5 tons per hectare.
Vinification
Alcoholic fermentation takes place spontaneously, without the addition of yeasts, in stainless steel tanks. This takes approximately 35 days at an average temperature of 14°C. The wine then matures for approximately 5 months on its fine lees before bottling.
