A yellow wine with brilliant golden hues. The bouquet is floral (rose), aromatic, and fruity, with notes of apple, banana, peach, and apricot. Pleasant hints of cinnamon and cloves emerge in the background. On the palate, the wine is round and slightly oily, with pronounced freshness and saltiness, making it very well-balanced. Excellent as an aperitif or wine for company, and particularly well-suited to fish dishes with creamy sauces and crustaceans with sweet flesh, such as langoustines, large shrimp, lobster, and crayfish.

Location of the vineyards:
Faedo, in the Coveli district at 300 metres above sea level with a south-westerly exposure, and Cembra, in Valbona (a side valley of the Val di Cembra) at 450 metres above sea level.

Growing system:
“Pergoletta trentina aperta” with 6,000 vines per hectare in Faedo, and Guyot with 6,200 vines per hectare in Cembra.

Soil type:
In Faedo, the vineyard is situated between the Permian porphyry formation (volcanic rock) and the Werfen deposits of sandstone, siltstone, marl, limestone, and dolomite. The soil is 30 to 100 cm deep, clay-calcareous, and rests on marly rock.
Valbona was formed by the retreat of ancient glaciers and later by the action of the Scorzai stream, which created dark sandy soils with a high stone content (rounded pebbles) originating from volcanic porphyry.

A wine that is best enjoyed young, but can also show excellent results after 5 to 10 years of aging.

Details:
White winemaking involves washing the grapes and pressing them under controlled conditions. Both techniques were developed by the winery itself, with the aim of avoiding exogenous antioxidants and preserving the grape's natural aromas and antioxidants.
