Designation of origin: Recioto della Valpolicella DOCG

Tasting notes:
The nose is a true explosion of spicy aromas: cinnamon, nutmeg, and pronounced notes of cocoa, pepper, and cloves. Fruity aromas then emerge with hints of plum and fresh morello cherries.

Treatment of the grapes:
After harvest, the grapes rest in the fruttaio for the period stipulated by the production regulations. The freshest grapes are selected for the cuvée to give the Recioto maximum length and optimal balance in the glass.

Maturation:
Controlled fermentation in barriques for 12 months. The barrels used are entirely French oak from the central forests. The barriques rest for approximately 18 months before toasting to soften the wood influence. In addition, 20% of the barriques are treated exclusively with steam, further softening the wood influence and preserving the wine's identity. Once the desired residual sugar level is reached (approximately 90 g/l), fermentation is stopped.

50% Corvina, 20% Corvinone, 25% Rondinella, 5% Oseleta-Croatina
This classic Valpolicella blend combines Corvina for fresh red fruit and elegance, Corvinone for structure and spice, Rondinella for softness and balance, and Oseleta-Croatina for added color, concentration, and depth. Together, they create a powerful yet refined wine with complexity and character.
