The Fattore Anfora Rosso – Tenuta Kerù
A powerful and characterful red wine from Cabernet Sauvignon, fermented and aged in a terracotta amphora. This special vinification gives the wine added depth and complexity, with subtle smoky notes on the nose and expressive aromas of ripe red fruit. On the palate, the wine is remarkably soft and round thanks to the natural micro-oxygenation of the amphora, while remaining intense and full-bodied. Vinification:
Slow fermentation in 320-litre terracotta amphorae with skin contact, followed by maturation.
Tasting notes:
The amphora adds complexity to the nose with smoky nuances. On the palate, it's soft thanks to the natural micro-oxygenation of the terracotta, yet powerful and intense. Red fruit aromas dominate the flavor profile.
Minimum alcohol percentage: 14% vol.
