This is a refined and characterful red wine from Castellengo, made from 85% Nebbiolo and 15% Vespolina. The volcanic-sandy soil imparts finesse and minerality, while the long aging in tonneaux adds elegance and depth. The aroma reveals ripe red fruit, violets, and a hint of spice; the palate is silky, powerful, and perfectly balanced. An authentic Piedmontese wine with personality and length.
