At Passanelli, we are proud to partner with Centovigne – Castello di Castellengo, a historic winery deeply rooted in the winemaking tradition of Alto Piemonte. Beneath the imposing peaks of the Monte Rosa massif, on the hills of Biella, wines of exceptional elegance and character have been produced here for centuries.
The Ciccioni family , led by Magda and Alessandro, has breathed new life into the ancient estate by restoring forgotten vineyards with respect for nature and history. The Centovigne vineyards are situated on unique soils of ancient, former seabed of glacial origin – a terroir that gives their Nebbiolo and Erbaluce wines their characteristic complexity and minerality.
In the 18th-century cellars of Castello di Castellengo, tradition and innovation are seamlessly combined. The wines mature naturally in concrete vats and large oak barrels, where time and craftsmanship create a perfect balance between history and contemporary quality.
