At Passanelli, we collaborate with Marco Buvoli , a winemaker who has dedicated his life to one of the world's most distinctive grapes: Pinot Nero. His wines are living proof of how tradition, craftsmanship, and a touch of individuality can combine to create an unforgettable wine experience.
Marco Buvoli's story begins on a winter evening in 1997, when, by the fireside with a glass of Champagne Blanc de Noirs, he decided to honor the magic of Pinot Nero. He wanted to create wines with emotion, wines that would touch not only the taste buds but also the heart.
This is how L'Opificio del Pinot Nero was born in the hills of Vicenza, where Marco works with skill and passion. In his cellar, wine and rock music go hand in hand – according to Marco and friends: Pinot Nero loves rock too.
In his wine cellar, passion and rhythm go hand in hand. He works exclusively with healthy grapes and whole bunches, with maceration and fermentation taking place in stainless steel tanks or wooden vats. This is followed by refined aging in barriques and tonneaux, each carefully selected to express the unique character of each vintage. This philosophy produces wines with a distinct personality, elegance, and depth – the result of pure dedication and respect for nature and terroir.
